This is a beautifully carved wooden handled bread knife c1800.  The carving is a floral design that goes all the way around the handle.  These knives were popular during the Victorian era.  This knife has a wire repair where the handle meets the blade (which adds character).

This is a vintage/antique, pre-owned item with normal wear due to its age.
