Offered is a 2 lb. Frank Cooper's Oxford Home Made Seville Marmalade jar. Jars like these often date to around 1900. The lettering features the royal "By Appointment" crest. This piece is debossed "Maling Newcastle" on the bottom. Staining and crazing due to being dug from a Victorian dump site. There is a small chip in the rim.
4 1/4" diameter, 4 1/2" tall
Weight 1 lb. 2.4 oz.
This is a vintage/antique, pre-owned item with normal wear due to its age.
