Available is a sepia transfer print Wigtownshire Creamery Co. cream pot, c1890-1912. The graphic features a traditional milkmaid holding a pail. The Wigtownshire Creamery Company was established in 1888 along Sheuchan Street in the coastal port town of Stranraer, Scotland. It quickly grew into a massive regional dairy hub fueled by the thousands of milk cows grazing in the surrounding pastures. This pot has been recovered from a Victorian dig site.
