Available is a Creme d'Amande lidded pot produced by R. Hovenden & Sons. This company was a highly prominent British wholesale manufacturing and importing firm specializing in perfumery, hairdressing sundries, and grooming products during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Among other products, they manufactured high-end shaving preparations, soaps, and cold creams-such as the almond-based shaving formula that was packaged in this pot. There is a chip on the rim of the lid of this pot as shown. This pot has been recovered from a Victorian dig site.

This is a vintage/antique, pre-owned item with normal wear due to its age.
