Mac Fisheries Fish Paste Lidded Pot c1920
Available is a Mac Fisheries fish paste pot, c1920. Mac Fisheries was a highly influential British retail chain of fishmongers founded in February 1919 by industrialist William Lever, 1st Viscount Leverhulme. This is a rare pot with a blue and black design of a ship on water surrounded by a border of fish and crabs. This pot is stained and crazed. The base has stable hairline cracks as shown in the pictures. This pot was recovered from a Victorian dig site.

This is a vintage/antique, pre-owned item with normal wear due to its age.
