Available is an antique white ironstone "Lactic-Bacilli Milk" advertising jar or crock prepared by the Express Dairy Co. Ltd., dating back to around 1910-1920. These crocks were used in early 20th-century British dairies to distribute specialized fermented or lactic-bacilli milk products before widespread glass bottle adoption. There is a chip on the bottom edge as shown. This jar has been sourced from England.
