English Ironstone Lidded Pot
This is a large ironstone lidded pot sourced from England. These pots were typically used for ointments or pastes. The reddish staining is due to being recovered from a Victorian dig site. There is a star shaped stable hairline crack in the lid (does not go all the way through the lid) and chips as shown in the pictures.
4" diameter, 1 7/8" tall
Weight .89 lb.
This is a vintage/antique, pre-owned item with normal wear due to its age.
