Cherry Tooth Paste English Ironstone Lidded Advertising Pot
Available is an antique Victorian-era English ironstone lidded pot advertising cherry toothpaste. Manufactured primarily between the 1850s and early 1900s, these pots featured transfer-printed advertising depicting cherries or cherry blossoms, despite "cherry" generally referring to the color of the paste rather than the flavor. There are chips on the rim and bottom edge of the base as shown. This pot has been recovered from a Victorian dig site.
