This is a "Bynol" Malt and Oil jar. Bynol was marketed as a highly digestible, nutrient-rich restorative tonic. It was heavily prescribed to children, convalescents, and people suffering from malnutrition or respiratory issues during harsh English winter. This jar has a chip and hairline cracks on the rim as shown. This jar has been recovered from a Victorian dig site.
