Available is an antique ironstone lidded pot advertising Boots Cash Chemists Tooth Paste. The company was founded by John Boot, who opened a small herbalist shop on Goose Gate in Nottingham in 1849. John aimed to offer affordable alternatives to expensive traditional medicine. There are some small chips on the inside rim of the base as shown. This pot has been recovered from a Victorian dig site.
