This is an antique wooden butter mold, featuring a hand-carved floral or leaf pattern on the interior bottom. These primitive kitchen tools were traditionally used in the 19th and early 20th centuries to shape and stamp pats of homemade butter. Beautiful dove-tail joints on two corners and locks on the other two corners.
