Available is a gorgeous antique Victorian Majolica Syrup or milk jug featuring and original hinged pewter lid, c1880. The body is styled with a rustic, deep brown basketweave or pebble texture background, beautifully decorated with molded relief thistles in vibrant mauve and green. The bottom showcases a cream-colored wheat or basketweave band. This jug has the original hinged pewter lid. There is crazing present in the glaze. No chips or cracks. This jug has been sourced from England.
