Offered is a split oak handwoven gathering basket with bentwood handle. These were commonly used in the early 20th century. They were designed for harvesting vegetables, flowers, or carrying goods from a market. There are minimal cracks in the slats as shown. This does not affect the integrity of the basket.

This is a vintage/antique, pre-owned item with normal wear due to its age.
