Victorian-Era Antique Glass Poison Bottle
This is an antique, early 20th-century glass poison bottle, likely from the 1890s to the 1920s. The bottle features a ribbed or fluted body, designed to be identifiable by touch in the dark to prevent accidental ingestion. It is heavily embossed with the warning "POISON" and "NOT TO BE TAKEN". The B & Co. Ltd. embossing on the bottom is for Bagley & Co. They were highly prominent in the United Kingdom for transitioning from hand-blown glass to automated, machine-made bottles during this period.
