This is an antique English advertising pot for Rowland's Otto of Rose Cold Cream, manufactured around 1900. Otto of rose (also known as Attar of Rose) is a highly concentrated, premium essential oil extracted from the petals of fresh roses through steam distillation. This pot has been recovered from a Victorian dig site.
