Available is a rare antique Irish stoneware advertising pot for Fruitfield Old Time Extra Coarse Cut Marmalade, c1900. Fruitfield Preserves is one of Ireland's oldest and most iconic food brands. The brand was started by Charles B. Lamb, a Quaker from Oxfordshire, England. He moved to County Armagh, Northern Ireland, and began a small jam-making operation using fresh fruits grown on his farm. This pot is beautifully stained and crazed. It has been recovered from a Victorian dig site.
