Portmeirion Commemorative Water Jug 1866 Transatlantic Telegraph Cable
A stunning piece of Victorian history. This molded stoneware jug celebrates the completion of the first successful transatlantic telegraph cable linking Britain and America in 1866. The vessel is shaped like a coiled cable and features the Royal Standard and US flag in relief on the neck.
