Nutbrown Ironstone Rolling Pin
Available is a vintage Nutbrown ironstone rolling pin, stamped Made in England, c1940-1950. The company (Nutbrown) was founded by Thomas M. Nutbrown, who began manufacturing innovative, labor-saving kitchen gadgets in 1927 from a factory located on Walker Street in Blackpool, England. Nutbrown utensils became staple items in British households, instantly recognizable by their vibrant painted wooden handles adorned with two signature silver hoops. A couple of minor chips in the paint on the handles as shown. There is crazing in the ironstone barrel. This rolling pin has been sourced from England.
