Sprigged scenes of a fox hunt, tavern life, country living, and windmills wrap this large stoneware harvest jug from England, most notably produced by makers like Doulton Lambeth or Bourne Denby. A two-tone glaze pairs a chocolate brown top with a natural stoneware bottom, finished with a silverplate rim bearing English hallmarks. The silverplate shows wear.
