Frank Coopers "Oxford" Seville Marmalade Train Size Jar
Available is a Frank Coopers "Oxford" Seville Marmalade jar from the early 1900s. It is a "train size" (miniature single-serve) jar. Train size were produced for railway dining cars and hotels in Victorian and Edwardian Britain. Because they were intended as single portions and usually thrown away, finding them fully intact today is much rarer than finding the standard 1 lb. or 2 lb. kitchen crocks. This pot is stained and crazed. There are no chips and only a tiny hairline on the lip of the pot. This pot has been recovered from a Victorian dig site.

This is a vintage/antique, pre-owned item with normal wear due to its age.
