CHOICE of 2 Chromolithograph Illustrations, c1890

Available is your CHOICE of 2 chromolithograph illustrations of mushrooms, c1890.

The print on the left is of the Boletus pachypus (thick-foot bolete) mushroom, originally illustrated by Swiss mycologist Fritz Leuba.

The print on the right is of a side-by-side comparison to help foragers distinguish between a safe edible variety and a toxic lookalike.

Both are from the book titled Les Champignons Comestibles et les Especes Veneneuses avec Lesquelles ils Pourraient Etre Confondus (translated as Edible Mushrooms and the Poisonous Speciaes With Which They Should Not be Confused).

Each one has been framed using archival quality mats, backing board and UV protective glass.  These mix well with the smaller ones to make a beautiful gallery wall!  Perfect for a kitchen or library.

Outside measurements for each 12 3/8" wide x 16 5/8" tall
Weight each 2.14 lb.

This is a vintage/antique, pre-owned item with normal wear due to its age.

Review photos and descriptions carefully. I have made every effort to accurately describe these items.
