These vintage Napco ceramic Winking Santa mugs feature a jovial facial expression with a distinct winking eye and a bright red handle. During the 1950s and 1960s, these playful ceramics exploded in popularity across America. To keep up with massive consumer demand, production expanded rapidly, with many American novelty companies importing pieces directly from Japan. The mini-Santa mugs were originally used as holiday party favors, table place-card holders, children's cups, and shot glasses for adults. Both of these mugs are stamped Japan on the bottom. There is minor paint loss.

This is a vintage/antique, pre-owned item with normal wear due to its age.
