Available is an antique ironstone Calvert's Carbolic Tooth Paste lidded pot, a Victorian-era product popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The lid features a distinctive compass trademark and was generally manufactured in England between 1870 and 1910. Carbolic toothpaste contained carbolic acid, valued at the time for its antiseptic properties before the widespread knowledge of fluoride. There is a chip on the rim of the base. This pot has been recovered from a Victorian dig site.
