Available is an ironstone lidded advertising pot for Areca Nut Toothpaste by Commans of Bath. Robert Dyer Commans was a prominent Victorian pharmaceutical chemist based in the historic spa town of Bath, England. Commans is widely recognized as the inventor and patent holder of Areca Nut Toothpaste. The product became massively successful across the British Empire, even being exported as far as New Zealand.
